When attempting to print labels from a Mac running the Mountain Lion OS using any seagull print driver it won't work. I've tried using the TSC-TDP 247, Godex DT4 and Zebra LP2844 and none of these label printers work with Mountain Lion running. I can downgrade to Lion and it will print fine.
Here is what happens. I install the print drivers the same way I always have, then send a print job from my Firefox web browser to the label printer. Job sends but the computer recognizes the printer as offline. The only way around this we've found is to abandon the usb connection and connect the printer through the network using CUPS. What gives? How can we get these label printers to work with Seagull made drivers with the Mountain Lion OS?
Thanks,
Coleman

Hello Colman,
Seagull Scientific's Windows printer drivers are for use with supported versions of Windows only. From our site:
The drivers listed below support:
Windows XP SP2 or higher, and all editions of Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, and 2012.
32-bit and 64-bit (x64) editions.
If you are running Windows in a virtual environment such as VMware or Bootcamp, you will want to discuss with that virtualization provider any issues related to USB virtualization and translation across platforms. But unfortunately we cannot provide any assistance in the event that it does not work as expected in an unsupported OS.
