It's for: All skill levels
Steve Chien, VP of R&D: 'This is our latest generation of modern and innovative design for maximum distance and control. Our goal is to reach maximum MOI while still enhancing distance. We accomplish our mission by utilizing maximum dimensions (5' x 5' USGA limit) for stability and forgiveness. A longer, lighter Fujikura shaft increases ball speed for more distance.'
Cleveland Hibore Xls Monster Review
How it works: This is an ultra-stable, forgiving Monster (MOI is 5,900 g x cm2). The large, thin face triggers the firm's biggest, broadest hitting area (16 percent larger than HiBore XLS). Twenty-four grams of discretionary weight spread across its rear allow off-center hits to perform on par with center contact. The raised face (relative to where the sole touches the ground) reduces mass by seven grams low in the face and contributes to its 'high launch, low spin' profile. Monster XLS comes in a Tour (440cc) version with a 2° open clubface, Standard (460cc) with a square face or Draw (460cc; offset) with a 3° closed face. You can dial in ball flight with Fujikura's Flightspeed Fit-On Gold shaft (high trajectory) or Flightspeed Fit-On Red (lower, more penetrating shape). Amd 13.12 driver for mac.
